Petina Lanigan

Petina Lanigan has 20+ years experience in event ideation, logistics, and delivery. Her ability to be both creative and practical, and her passion for excellence, underwrite well-planned and engaging events. With extensive experience in Corporate Events and Sport, Petina has a great understanding of the corporate, government, and not-for-profit sectors.

Petina’s career began in Sport, where she brought a level of professionalism not prevalent in that industry at the time. Working with Gymnastics, her career evolved from delivering sport competitions to education events, and included international experience as part of Olympic bids, World Championships, and at Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

At Essendon Football Club Petina worked on some of the biggest events in the Australian sport calendar including AFL Grand Final Week, ANZAC Day, and Dreamtime at the G. As Marketing Services Manager she collaborated with colleagues, sponsors, and other stakeholders to develop and deliver fan engagement events and sponsor activations.

2012, Petina moved agency-side as a Production Manager - Corporate Events. Her main client was Australia Post, and she enjoyed a successful eight year relationship helping transform their annual expo into a modern, relevant event.

Petina joined Wise Connections to deliver marketing services to complement our event management solutions. Skills in audience analysis and social listening as well as communications will be an asset to events and marketing projects alike.
